The APR exam spans 6 domains: Researching, Planning, Implementing and Evaluating Programs (30% of the exam); Applying Ethics and Law (15% of the exam); Managing Issues and Crisis Communications (15% of the exam); Understanding Theories, Models and Concepts of Public Relations (5% of the exam); Leading the Public Relations Function (20% of the exam); Managing Relationships (15% of the exam). Every practice question on this site is tagged to one of these domains.

The domains are not weighted equally on the exam.
